Comment and Information for 1991 Durham Counts:

  1. The 1991 Durham Region database was updated in August 2001 with vehicle categories adjusted to match those for the 2001 Durham Region database.
  2. The following Major Screenlines, which were counted in the 2001 program, consist of complete station data for each count year:  1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 22, 25, 26, 27, 28, 30, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, 53, 56, 57, and 58.
  3. All automatic vehicle counts are proportioned into autos by number of people with no assignment to trucks or buses unless other data is available.
  4. Some automatic vehicle counts are proportioned into autos by number of people with no assignment to trucks or buses unless other data is available.
  5. Database has been modified to reflect traffic volume in 15-minute ending times.
  6. Cab drivers and truck drivers are NOT included in person counts.
  7. 1991 Counts on the "Major Screenlines" were conducted from 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m and all others where conducted from 6:00 a.m to 7:45 p.m
