Comment and Information for 1995 Peel Counts:

1. As of 1993, taxi and school bus are now recorded in separate categories. A taxi with just the driver and no passenger is recorded as a Cab1, with 1 passenger as Cab2, etc.
2. The maximum auto occupancy category has been reduced from 6+ to 4+.
3. The Metro/Mississauga boundary station data were supplied by Metro. Due to individual validation processes and time coverages, there may be differences between the two data bases.
4. 1995 counts were conducted from 5:30 am to 9:30 pm
5. Truck drivers are not included in the total person category.
6. New stations for 1995: #95, 109, 336, 337, 338, 339, 358, 359 and 517.
7. Morningstar Drive, west of Highway 427 (station #242) was not counted due to its permanent closure.
8. The following individual station data should be used with caution.
   • Station #264 & 265, Erin Mills Pkwy, south of Highway 403 was under construction, with one lane open each way.
   • Station #266, Highway 403 at the Credit River, Highway 401 was closed in both directions at Weston Road (approximately 10:00 am to 8:00 pm). The am peak period data was not affected, however, the off-peak and pm peak period may have been affected.
   • Station #131, 140, 244, and 500, the transit categories were not classified in the appropriate category. It is our understanding that GO bus data was combined with the municipal transit category.
9. Screenline 100 is a list of all stations within the database.
