Comment and Information for 1998 York Counts:

1. For this year, all '99' stations (eg. YP99W) represent the total automatic counts for the screenline.
2. Total vehicles include all vehicles except bicycles.
3. Total persons include all drivers and passengers except cyclists and pedestrians.
4. Taxi driver is INCLUDED in the occupancy and person crossing counts. That is, a taxi with one passenger is recorded as a cab occupancy 2, and consequently, 2 persons passing through a station.
5. Counts were conducted from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
6. Refer to Metro's cordon count database for information on the Metro-York boundary.
7. In January 2005, data for Station 302E and 302W was modified. The previously existing data for the 15 minute time period between 5:01 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. was removed and new data was added for the time period 5:01 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
