Comment and Information for 2004 Halton Counts:

1. Stations that are considered "Manual only" were the MTO stations.
   
   
2. The "Manual and ATR" stations were the majority of Halton stations.
   
   
3. The count period was between 6:00 to 19:00 (7:00 pm) straight and was undertaken manually, and by Automatic Traffic Recorders (ATR) as follows:
   
   • Manual counts were between 7:00 to 9:30,11:00 to 14:00 (2:00 pm) and 15:00 (3:00 pm) to 18:30 (6:30 pm).
   • To complete the gaps between 6:00 to 19:00 (7:00 pm) count period, ATR data was used.
   • Stations that are considered "ATR" only were counted with ATR equipment due to remote and/or low volume locations.

4. Taxi and trucks drivers are included in persons count.
   
   
5. Multi-trailer truck is a new vehicle category added in 2004.
