Comment and Information for 2004 Peel Counts:

1. Region of Peel counts were conducted from 5:30 am to 8:30 pm.
   Stations 63 and 412 were counted by Halton Region from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm.
   Stations 101 - 106, 109, 131, 140, 244, 246 and 500 were counted by the City of Toronto between 6:00 am to 8:00 pm.
2. As of 1993, taxi and school bus have been recorded in separate categories.
   A taxi with just the driver and no passenger is recorded as a Cab1, with 1 passenger as Cab2, etc.
3. Cab1s are counted and included in "total trucks" (commercial vehicles).
4. Cab2s - 4s are counted as auto passengers.
5. Bus drivers are included as bus passengers.
6. Truck drivers are not included in the total person category.
7. Aggregate trucks were a new vehicle category added in 2001.
   Tractor-trailers is a new vehicle category added in 2004.
8. GO Rail Trains are not counted as vehicles.
9. A new set of simplified screenlines have been developed in 2004.
10. New stations include: 208, 361 - 363, 412 - 415.
