Comment and Information for 2014 Peel Counts:

1. Region of Peel counts were conducted from 5:30 am to 8:30 pm.
   
2. All Peel stations were conducted manually.
   
3. As of 1993, taxi and school bus have been recorded in separate categories.
   A taxi with just the driver and no passenger is recorded as a Cab1, with 1 passenger as Cab2, etc.
4. Cab1s are counted and included in "total trucks" (commercial vehicles).
5. Cab2s - 4s are counted as auto passengers.
6. Bus drivers are included as bus passengers.
7. Truck drivers are not included in the total person category.
8. GO Rail Trains are not counted as vehicles.
9. GO Rail Train data for the Spring of 2014 counts were not available as they were replaced with Summer 2014 counts. For the 2014 cordon count program purposes, Fall 2013 data as shared by GO Transit is used.
